PAID TIME OFF (PTO)

PAID TIME OFF (PTO)

To provide our team with paid time off for vacations, illness or personal business.

Eligible:
  • Associates
  • Shift Leaders
  • Managers
  • Executives

Associates: start accruing PTO after 1 year of service, can earn up to 5 days per year. Shift Leaders: start accruing PTO after 6 months of service, can earn up to 7 days per year Managers: start accruing PTO after 90 days, can earn up to 10 days per year. Executive: start accruing PTO after 90 days, can earn up to 15 days per year.

  • Accrual Rates are calculated per hour of work.
  • Rolls over 2 times the allotted amount
  • Accrual is based on anniversary date
  • Employee promotion changes the accrual rate moving forward
HOLIDAY PAY

HOLIDAY PAY

To provide employees with time off for company recognized holidays.

Eligible:
  • Associates
  • Shift Leaders
  • Non Exempt Managers

The company will grant holiday pay to non-exempt employees on holidays listed below. Employees who work the below days will be paid time and a half for the hours worked on the holiday, so long as they work their scheduled shift before and after the holiday.

  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
OVERTIME PAY

OVERTIME PAY

To provide employees with opportunity to work over 40 hours per week.

Eligible:
  • Associates
  • Shift Leaders
  • Non Exempt Managers

Non-exempt employees will earn 1.5x hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 per week.

RECRUITMENT BONUS

RECRUITMENT BONUS

Epic Shine wants to recruit quality applicants. We encourage employees to refer qualified candidates to the company.

If your referral is employed by Epic Shine, a recruiting bonus will be paid to employees under the following terms and schedule:

Associate Referral: $100
Shift Leader Referral: $200
Manager Referral: $400

  • Original employment application contains the employees name as the referral source
  • Referral Fee Paid after 6 months employment
  • Accrual is based on anniversary date
  • If multiple employees refer the same person, bonus split equally among referring employees.
ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE BONUS

ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE BONUS

Epic Shine encourages high performance at both work and school.

Eligible:

  • Managers
  • Executives

Epic Shine rewards employees for outstanding performance employees for above average efforts in their studies.

Should an employee attain an average of 3.0 GPA for a semester, Epic Shine will reward employee with a $100 bonus.

Employee must be employed with Epic Shine for the full semester in which the 3.0 GPA is earned.

YEARS OF SERVICE BONUS

YEARS OF SERVICE BONUS

To thank employees for their years of service and commitment.

Each employee will receive $100 for every completed years of service.

Example: 1yr = $100, 2yrs = $200, 3yrs = $300, etc

  • Must work the full year to earn bonus
  • Bonus does not accrue until anniversary date.

To encourage our employees to be healthy and have a physically fit lifestyle

Eligible employees can choose the workout facility of their choice and receive partial reimbursement of monthly dues.

Summary of benefits:
  • Premiums up to a maximum of $20/month
  • Proof of monthly payment is required for reimbursement
  • Reimbursements are paid quarterly

Each eligible employee will receive the following:

  • 3 pants or shorts per year
  • 2 short sleeve shirts per year
  • 2 long sleeve shirts per year
  • 1 fleece pull over
  • 1 fleece jacket
  • 1 hat
  • 1 beenie

* Depending on number of hours worked per week, these uniforms will be adjusted +/-
